Hapkido "THE ART OF CO ORDINATED POWER"

Hapkido is one of the most practical and comprehensive self defence systems found in Australia today.

Hapkido incorporates spectacular kicking techniques similar to those used in Tae Kwon Do and Karate. Painful Joint locks, throws and safety falls similar to those used in Judo, Ju Jitsu and Aikido.
Hard and soft hand techniques, along with pressure point and weaponry similar to that found in Kung Fu and Kendo.

With the variety of techniques Hapkido has to offer, this complete martial art can be practiced by anyone, Male or Female - Young or Old.
Fitness, self discipline and self confidence will all be gained by regular practice and training.
HapKiDo is the art of Co-ordinated power with the use of both Mind and Body.

Chief instructor of the NHA Nepean Hapkido Academy is  2nd Degree Black Belt Steve Perceval.

Steve opened a part time Hapkido gym in February 1996, and with the overwhelming response to Hapkido in the Nepean area Steve then opened his full time Martial Arts centre in May 1996.

Now with over 90 regular training students, Steve maintains a strong commitment to high quality with up to date and professional training methods.

The Nepean Hapkido student enjoys a disciplined training method, with focus on technical application both on a REALISTIC and TRADITIONAL basis.

Fitness is an important component in any
martial art, and new members are
encouraged to train at a rate comparable
to their own
fitness level. Better fitness and health will
be gained over time with regular training
at the Nepean Hapkido Academy.

Attaining a Black Belt is not easy, it takes
a lot of hard work and commitment.
The first step is always the hardest, take
positive action now.
