More Information
This amazing martial art is one of the most practical and comprehensive systems found in  Australia today.
HapKiDo is a Korean martial art which incorporates both traditional and street practical applications, e.g. some traditional aspects taught in the center will never be used in a real street situation, these techniques are designed to give the student practice, balance and to build a strong foundation. Without these techniques some students may never gain proper fundamentals or confidence.

HapKiDo incorporates:
  • Both dynamic and street practical kicking techniques.
  • Painful joint locks and restraining techniques.
  • Various throws, sweeps and safety falls.
  • A variety of hand and fist techniques.
  • Some pressure point and weaponry techniques.

With the diverse range of techniques HapKiDo has to offer, this makes HapKiDo a very powerful self defence system.
HapKiDo allows senior ranked students to become more specialized in certain area’s e.g. Some people are naturally more flexible in joints and muscles so they usually become stronger at the dynamic kicking techniques, where others may become stronger in area’s of locks, throws and restraints and others may want to try and perfect all the techniques. HapKiDo becomes more than a martial art or a self defence system, it becomes a way of life, a personal journey, this is why this amazing art can be enjoyed and practiced by almost anyone, young or old, male or female.
